National Literacy Mission 

• Adult Education: The College organized and coordinated 10 Centers in tribal villages of Jalgaon Tahsil.
  
  
• Continuing Education: For the farmers of Shelgaon, Kadgaon and Kanaswade villages, a series of lectures was organised by the College on various topics, such as use of Modern Agricultural Technology and National Integration. 
  
  
• Population Education: To provoke the population control and health awareness, various activities were organised on family planning, AIDS, Public Health and Hygiene in Kanaswade and Shelgaon villages. Posters, Exhibitions and Charts were displayed, video films were shown and slogan competition was also organised.  As an extension activity, College had established a library in Kanaswade Village.  
  
  
• Jan-Shikshan Nillayam: Under this scheme, a Self Employment Training Programme was organised in 2 villages namely Shelgaon and Kanaswade, with the result that 5 tribal females started their tailoring shops. Also, the College N.S.S. unit was catalytic in establishing "Mahila Mandal" at Kadgaon, "Bhajani Mandal" at Shelgaon and "Youth Club" at Kanaswade. 

Campus Diversity Initiative (CDI) Project of Ford Foundation 

Colleges and Institutions of Higher Education are the campuses where the next generation is built. The Campus of the academic institution is a place where every type of diversity can be noticed and experienced. Therefore, the exposure to human and cultural diversity through a planned exercise at the College and University Campuses are supposed to make a real impact. With this presumption, CDI Project was implemented in the. Various programs, functions and activities undertaken under this project were as under:

• Tree Plantation and Campus Beautification
• Bicycle Rallies
• Popular lecture on Women Rights and Empowerment
• Essay Competition on National Integration
• Student-Teacher Guardian Scheme and Student's Counseling
• Faculty Training - Trainers Training Program
• Food Festival
• Residential Camp for Students at Tribal Village with a focal theme
• Residential Orientation Camp for Teachers at Jain Hills.
• Workshop on Human Rights
